Nine of Us is a leadership coaching and DEI consultancy.

The only way to change the system is from the inside-out. When we have wealth, power and influence, we have the voice to demand change, and the tools to build the change we want.

Our Mission

We want a world where wealth, power and influence are equally distributed and anyone, regardless of their identity, can advance to leadership.

What We Do

People say that if there’s no room at the table, build your own table. But not everyone wants to be an entrepreneur and build their own table. If we all leave the traditional seats of power – governments, boards, tech giants and Fortune 500 companies – those spaces end up being run by people who aren’t like us. That is not a future any of us should be comfortable with.

Our goal is to dismantle the systemic barriers that stop marginalized folks from taking their seat at the table. We do this in two ways:

  • Leadership coaching, where we teach people to navigate the system

  • DEI consulting, where we partner with companies to create more inclusive and equitable cultures

Our Approach

The Nine of Us Team

The Nine of Us team includes instructional designers, data analysts and coaches who are experts in in learning and development, organizational behavior, change management, HR, and DEI policy, who can bring programmatic DEI, build programs, educate your workforce, work with senior leadership, change minds, win hearts and influence the nay-sayers — usually before lunchtime and without breaking a sweat.

our founder

Sari De

Sari is an ICF accredited Leadership Coach, trained negotiator, and trauma-informed facilitator.

She spent 17 years in the corporate world at companies like Microsoft, Facebook, T-Mobile, and WPP, where she led large teams and build award-winning, nationally accredited diversity programs from the ground up.

After experiencing severe burnout, she started Nine of Us, a mission-driven consultancy. Microaggressions, unconscious bias, being the ‘only’, and lack of equity lead to professional consequences like less pay, slower advancement, and lack of opportunity as well as personal costs including burnout and anxiety. Sari is determined to change this for those that come after her.

She uses her training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (a science-based approach to creating long-term behavior change), traditional coaching tools, and her own leadership experience to create real change for her clients.
